Fang sat on a small boulder, the stone shaded by a large oak behind the King. "Peaceful..." he murmured, staring into the depths of the creek. There was sunlight dancing on the top, fish underneath reflecting it off their scales. The older King could not help but lay back, letting his eyes wander the sky.
True, in the years that had gone by with devastation and change, he had remained as King. Though, he remembered the days before with his half blind eye. Fang pulled his hand to touch his left eye, a pale scar trailing down it, silvery in his eye. "Where did you go, Kryss...?"

Krystal used her sword to support her weight. She was all bandaged up. Even her wings were bandaged up. "I'm back..." Krystal walked up to Fang, and slowly wrapped her bandaged arms around him. She whispered the words in his ear. She had changed since she had left secretly for war, and she still wondered if Fang even remembered her.
Back in the war, Kryss had had to fend for herself alone. She has lost some weight, and she had refused food from the tribe people. She would only eat when Fang ate, so that she would be able to talk to him. "And I still love you..." Krystal whispered again.

Even the creek was so quite that Fang heard a rustle behind him. He paused for a few seconds, briefly wondering how someone could've found him. There was no way anybody nowadays knew his thoughts. Kryss, however, skipped his thoughts despite his murmured words.
When the least expected person came behind him, the wolf-morph almost yelped. The bandaged arms had closed around his neck, mainly because the King had slipped more onto his back. "Don't do that..." he muttered when he saw who it was. Disbelief shine in both of his eyes. Fang sighed in relief and relaxed into her touch. "I don't wanna hurt you..."

Kryss let her arms hang lose around Fang's neck. She then let go of him and stepped to his side, sitting down next to him. Krystal's breath was shallow but her voice was smooth. Being the idiot she was, Kryss would have never let go of life too easily. Looking at Fang's face, Krystal gasped a little. She touched beneath his left eye, softly.
"What happened to you?" Voice concerned and worried, Kryss starred into Fang's now silvery eye. Though Kryss new she was worrying over nothing much, she remembered all of her comeraddes that were killed in the heat of war.

Fang visibly twitched under her touch, but didn't pull away. The scar itself seemed to burn when the old memories were pulled up... He sighed. "A scuffle. Fight. Battle... whatever you wanna call it. A warrior with sharp claws only pulled one claw over me." He finally managed to pull away just an inch. It still hurt to remember, no matter how much he tried to forget.
However, the older male had a smirk on his face. "But I could ask you the same thing, drifter."

Kryss let go of Fang. She could tell that the memories hurt, but so did hers. She felt sorry for her king, but she knew that he would be fine. "Yeah, just a scuffle...." Sarcasm was deeply noticeable in Krystal's voice, and she rolled her eyes and then gave a small laugh.
Kryss squeaked when Fang called her a drifter. She drew her wings close to her body, and shivered at the thought. "Well, um. I was running....and I got shot.... by a poisoned arrow.... and it changed my appearance... forever.... Then these stupid, but useful, wings grew out of my back and I look like this..." Krystal morphed into her animal form, her tails were laying softly on the ground and her ears were relaxed.
"Oh, and I had to change my animal form's name....Elise....or Elle...." Elise barked, but then she morphed back into her human form.

He snickered slightly at the comment of his fight, white teeth showing, but halted at Kryss's sound. Alarm was in his eyes at the story. A growl could be heard in his throat at the words of an arrow. "Shot by your own weapon." Anyone could tell Fang was angry, just with a single glance. His one maroon eye and one silver eye gave a long stare to Kryss's wings.
His concern was greater than his anger though. The King changed into Eclipse, white tail wagging and yellow eyes bold. The only differences were that his blind eye was a pale amber color and the black tail patch was more of a dark grey. "I'm still the same." he woofed, eyes warm.
Getting up, the white wolf licked Kryss's cheek affectionately. "And I still love you, too."

Krystal gave a warm laugh. "In the end, they helped me! The only reason I came back? 'Cause I could fly and get away." she said, looking down at Eclipse. Krystal smiled and then blushed after Eclipse licked her cheek. She morphed into her wolf form again, only to see that she was still a bit smaller than Eclipse.

Eclipse pawed Ellie's sky-blue tail, taking a genuine interest in the colors. It was like he was a pup again, seeing some things for the first time. He sniffed it then grinned a wolf grin, lips parted and eyes warm. This wasn't the King that late Heulen Der Wolfe and Silencio mortal knew. This was the King that had led happily in his early days as King of Wolfe.
A laugh sounded from his mouth, lingering on the difference in size. "But that's okay, Ellie." Eclipse murmured, still laughing lightly.
The arctic wolf nipped his lost mate's ear playfully, nuzzling her neck. Eclipse had dearly missed Kryss, and voiced it aloud. "I missed you... So, so much." Agony leaked into his voice, as well as sorrow. Eclipse changed into Fang again, tired of the lack of touch he had. Fang's head was still next to Ellie's, face buried in her pale neck fur, while his hands wrapped around it and clenched her fur. "So... so much, Kryss."
The silver haired male was, again, like a much younger version of himself. He seeked refuge in the embrace of the one he loved, and never wanted to go back to being lonely. Even if it was for a second, Fang never wanted to go back to being dead-like.
